Two pitbull dogs killed two little brothers, a five-month-old baby and a 2-year-old girl in a violent attackin addition to leaving the mother of both children in serious condition, in the state of Tennessee, United States.
According to the accounts of those close to the victims, the tragic incident -occurred in the garden of the family home- lasted about 10 minutes and caused the death of the children on the spotwhile the adult woman, identified as Kristie Jane Bennardis hospitalized.
The 30-year-old mother was left with serious injuries after trying unsuccessfully to prevent the dogs from biting her children: Hollace Deanfive months, and Lilly Janetwo years old.
SCSO detectives have identified the victims in Wednesday’s fatal dog attack: siblings, 2-year-old Lillie Bennard and 5-month-old Hollace Bennard. Their mother, Kirstie Bennard, remains hospitalized at Regional One in non-critical condition. This is still an ongoing investigation.

On the state of health of the mother, “has countless number of stitches and bite marks all over his body, including the face“, reported a close by social networks, also noting that “so far it seems that there is no permanent damage other than a heart that will never heal.”
In dialogue with the medium Fox News DigitalKelsey Canfield, a best friend of the attacked woman, said that the pets – named Cheech y Mia– they were part of the family for more than eight years without any violent incidents.
