MERIDA.- The Attorney General of the State of Quintana Roo investigates since this morning the discovery of two bodies lifeless and with several signs of violence in a small spot of the Merida-Cancun highway.
The macabre discovery occurred on Thursday morning, after an anonymous call was made to the emergency number (911) mentioning that the remains were at the height of kilometer 270.
A plan was immediately implemented search operation by municipal and state agents, until they found the site.
According to reports, the suspects were two men, as yet unknown, who were tied up with wire.
One of them was wearing Bermuda shorts and a white sports shoe, while the other was wearing only jeans and black shoes. At first glance, it was clear that they had bullet impacts.
In light of what happened, ministerial agents attached to the Specialized Homicide Prosecutor’s Office They arrived at the site to learn about the discovery. Experts also arrived to process the scene.
