Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has executed two Bahraini nationals who were involved in terrorist activities. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, the punishment was carried out in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia last day. Jafar Muhammad Ali Muhammad Juma Sultan and Sadiq Majid Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Tamir were sentenced to death by the Saudi court following completing the trial in the case.
According to the announcement issued by the Ministry of Interior, those who try to undermine the security of Saudi Arabia will have to take severe punishment. They were arrested by Saudi forces as soon as they entered Saudi Arabia while traveling through the King Fahd Causeway between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain in 2015. The Special Criminal Court found that they worked with a terrorist organization under a terrorist organization leader in Saudi Arabia.
The court also found that the accused were trained under an organization that planned terrorist activities in Saudi Arabia and other countries. Organized terrorist activities in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain with other individuals and smuggled and stockpiled weapons. Explosives and other items were found to be smuggled and hidden in the desert. The court sentenced both of them to death in 2021. Later the Court of Criminal Appeal and the High Court upheld the sentence. After receiving the royal order to carry out the sentence, both of them were executed the other day.
