Kollam: A two-and-a-half-year-old boy has been found missing in Anchal forest. The child was found in a rubber plantation near the house. The baby was shifted to a hospital in Punalur. Farhan, the son of Ansari and Fatima, went missing around 5.30 pm yesterday. Farhan went missing while playing in the yard. The mother said she heard the baby crying before he disappeared.

After the disappearance of the child, wells and rubber plantations in the area were searched but might not be found. The boy was found by police and firefighters following a search by locals and relatives. The baby was found shortly following the search resumed in the morning, which had been halted overnight due to rain. Police said they would look into whether the child was abducted by anyone. The incident is being investigated.
