In Handenberg (Braunau district), a 19-year-old was driving on the B156 from Neukirchen towards Eggelsberg at 7 a.m. He left the road to the left, ran over a road marker, collided with a garden fence and came to a stop on the edge of the road following regarding 40 meters. An alcohol test showed 1.92 per mille.
The young man was injured in the accident and had to be taken to Braunau Hospital by the rescue team. The car was totaled. The Handenberg fire department carried out the road cleaning. Because the accident vehicle was leaking oil, the soil next to the accident site had to be removed.
“Extent of damage not noticed”
In Enns The police were called to Wienerstrasse around 5:30 a.m. Witnesses reported that there were vehicle parts lying on the road.
