“We’re relaunching @TwitterBlue on Monday – subscribe on the web for $8 a month or on iOS (Apple’s operating system used on iPhones, ed) for $11 a month to get access to subscriber-only features , including the blue check mark,” the group said in a tweet on Saturday.

The blue tick will be granted following verification, specifies the group.

It will change to gold for businesses and later in the week to gray for government organizations.

Subscribers will also have access to the feature to correct tweets following they are posted or upload higher quality videos.

“Thank you for your patience as we work to improve Blue,” the band wrote on their official account.

When taking over Twitter at the end of October, Elon Musk announced his intention to launch a paid formula to diversify the revenues of the platform, whose financial health largely depends on its revenues.

A first version had been launched ten days following the takeover of the platform by the multi-entrepreneur, at the beginning of November, but had caused a cacophony with the opening of many accounts posing as celebrities or companies.

She had been suspended almost immediately.

Elon Musk had promised his return at the end of November, before indicating a few days later that the project was postponed indefinitely, the time to find a system to avoid identity theft.

Prior to Mr. Musk’s acquisition of Twitter, the platform offered a free identity verification service for organizations and individuals on the one hand, and a paid subscription to additional options on the other.
