Twitter is working on many new features at the moment. The social network confirmed this week to work on an option to edit tweets and now it is revealed that they are working on a function that users have been asking for for a long time. It is regarding the possibility of leaving those conversations or threads where you have been mentioned, but that do not interest you.
Twitter will let you delete mentions you don’t want
Something that many have suffered, is that someone mentions them continuously in a thread. This function will allow us to leave said thread directly and thus no longer be present in it.

This function will allow them to remove that mention. In fact, the function will come under the name Unmentioning (Not to mention) to the social network.
This function is already launched in the web version of the social network, although few users currently have access to it. It is something that is being tested first, so you want to check that everything works well and that it is something that is of real use to users on the platform.
