Twitter will strengthen its “subscription” that allows individuals to monetize, and will start introducing it in Japan. Elon Musk tweeted on the 16th.

Creators in Japan, Canada, Australia and New Zealand can now enable subscriptions on this platform.

Mr. Musk said on the 14th that he will strengthen the subscriptionTweet. Also on the 16th, creators in Japan, Canada, Australia and New Zealand announced that they can now activate their subscriptions on Twitter.
By subscribing, when a general user subscribes to the account of a creator they want to support at a fixed monthly fee ($2.99 to $9.99), the amount following deducting fees etc. will be paid to the creator. Creators will be able to get paid for their activities on Twitter.
Creators can choose between $2.99, $4.99, and $9.99 for the subscription fee. 600 yen for Elon Musk (editor’s note: believed to be $4.99). Up to 97% of the amount paid to Twitter, minus the in-app purchase fee, goes to the creator (if the account’s lifetime income is less than $50,000). Twitter will also not be charging fees for the next 12 months.

Subscription Tweets and replies to Subscription Tweets are only visible to other subscribers of that creator.

If a creator initiates a subscription,[設定]-[収益を得る(Monetization)]from[サブスクリプション]to select. Qualifications to participate are (1) 500+ followers, active within 30 days, and 18 years of age or older.
