Twitter has redesigned the way it displays ‘tweets‘ on the timelinewhich now has two tabs, the home one and the one in reverse chronological order with the publications of the accounts that the user follows.

Twitter’s timeline has had several changes in recent years, aimed at optimize the way the ‘tweets’ are displayed. This form oscillates between the automatic selection of the most relevant content made by the platform’s algorithms, or the latest content published by the accounts that are followed.

In the iOS app, and “soon” on Android and the web, Twitter has redesigned the home page to display two tabs: home and latest, which the user can move between to review all posts.

The latest ‘tweets’ tab is configurable, that is, the user has the possibility of pinning it (or unpinning it) at the top to have it at their fingertips. Default, the social network shows the ‘tweet’ on the home screen according to the algorithm.
