Twitter introduces search for specific messages by name and keyword in their DMs

Twitter introduced a new update that allows its users to search for messages in app inboxes Direct Messages (DM) using both names and keywords.

This new function will now accompany the possibility of searching for users or groups within DMs, which was already present on the platform.

At the end of 2019, the social network introduced the search bar on devices. iOSbut it only allowed searching for conversations. Two years later, this feature was also implemented on Android.

With this latest update, Twitter will start showing three options in the DM search bar: People, groups and messages.. The update is now available both on the web version and on the iOS and Android apps.
