After coming under pressure from various mental health authorities around the world, Twitter has reactivated the feature to help those who wish to commit suicide.

This feature had been announced by Twitter early last week, before re-activating it once more, following the company was attacked by mental health associations, which saw this feature as a source of support for the desperate of life.

And Business Insider says that Elon Musk was the one who made the decision to deactivate the feature, which is available through the hashtag #ThereIsHelp.

And the comment of Twitter officials on stopping the activation of the feature, including “Ella Irwin”, responsible for the trust and security department at Twitter, said in her response to the media: The reason for stopping the activation of the feature from the beginning was to update it and develop the assistance it provides.

And the property is supposed to appear at the top of the search field, contacts for support organizations that work in the field of mental health, HIV AIDS, vaccines, and also bodies for the prevention of sexual exploitation of children, bodies for following up on natural disasters, and freedom of expression, in a large number of countries of the world.
