Twitch no longer tolerates green backgrounds placed on buttocks and breasts to stream content. The platform is cracking down on this trend launched by streamer Morgpie by changing its rules of use, which are now more restrictive.

As we reported last week, Twitch is currently being shaken by a very particular trend. Instead of simply sharing their screen like most using OBS software, some content creators prefer to stand out with a cleverly placed green background. With Morgpie in the lead, these streamers broadcast gameplay on their butts and breasts.
Enough to attract male customers. Obviously, Twitch doesn’t like it. The platform modified its conditions of use yesterday, Wednesday March 28, with strangely specific clauses.
Twitch bans the broadcast of a very specific type of content
It’s no coincidence that Twitch’s new rules specify that “Content that focuses on intimate body parts for an extended period of time will not be permitted.” Impossible for the platform to simply ban buttocks and breasts. It was therefore necessary to find a way to prevent ole-ole streamers from highlighting these parts of the body: the criterion of duration was retained.
Morgpie is now accustomed to playing around with the boundaries of Twitch’s usage policies. Moreover, her streams showing her in a bikini playing video games are only a gateway to other content, paid for and prohibited for under 18s.

Earlier this month, she filmed herself playing Fortnite with the gameplay projected onto her butt. Others have joined him in this practice like virtual streamer Nyx Nekota, this time on her breasts. In a prophetic statement, the V-Tubeuse had declared that it was “le futur du streaming“. Morgpie had imitated him in turn by broadcasting Fortnite on his neckline.
Unfortunately for Nyx Nekota, the prophecy will not come true. From now on, such activity will become a banable offense. After the episode of this streamer banned from Twitch for showing her feet or even taking bubble baths, this is one more practice that becomes prohibited on Twitch.
So, the streaming platform seems to be becoming more and more restrictive. In search of respectability, Twitch definitively banned nudes at the end of 2023, following a brief episode of relaxation. Some streamers have since redoubled their imagination to always offer so-called pornographic content softcorewithout however exceeding the limits imposed by the platform.
