Mr. Heo is accused of driving a vehicle in the area of Seojeong-dong, Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do, while drinking at around 9:30 a.m. on the 11th of last month.
It is reported that he drove his car after drinking nearby, and in the process crashed into and damaged a wall in a residential area.
The police received a 112 call from a citizen saying, “There is a vehicle staggering in and out of the lane,” and responded to the scene and found Heo’s vehicle.
As a result of a police sobriety test conducted at the scene, it was reported that Mr. Heo’s blood alcohol level was at the level of license revocation.
A police official said, “It was discovered that Heo crashed into a wall and left the scene without taking proper action, so we also charged him with failing to take action after an accident under the Road Traffic Act.”
