‘Twin mother’ Ahn Seon-joo (35) is on the verge of winning the Korean Women’s Professional Golf (KLPGA) tour for the first time in 13 years.
Ahn Seon-ju hit 5-under 67 in the 3rd round of the KLPGA Tour High1 Resort Women’s Open (total prize money 800 million won) held at High1 Resort Country Club (par 72) in Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon-do on the 20th.
Ahn Seon-ju, who took the lead alone with a 10-under-par 206 shot in mid-total, took the 8th win on the KLPGA Tour in 13 years following winning the KB Kookmin Bank Star Tour 2nd Tournament in September 2009.
Ahn Seon-ju, who started the KLPGA tour in 2006, won every year until 2009 and won seven for four years.
Ahn Seon-joo has recorded a whopping 28 victories in Japan and left a big mark, including being crowned the gold medalist four times.

Ahn Seon-ju, who participated in 15 competitions before this competition and passed the cut 13 times to show off his strength, overwhelmed the juniors by playing a neat game that caught only 5 birdies without bogey.
Ahn Seon-joo said, “Actually, parenting is so difficult that I don’t have time and stamina left to practice.
Participating in the competition is a practice,” he said.
Ahn Seon-joo said, “I’m worried regarding tomorrow, but if I play the golf I want, the sky thinks it’s wonderful and gives me a gift for winning.”
