Last month, Twenty One Pilots returned with an album announcement and released the lead single “Overcompensate” along with an accompanying official music video directed by Reel Bear Media. The song, which went straight to the Top 5 on the Alternative Radio charts, left a huge impression on listeners, welcoming them back into the band’s immersive world through the album ‘Trench’.

“Clancy” is now available for pre-order on a variety of media, including: two limited deluxe box sets, four vinyl versions with additional exclusive materials, an exclusive CD with a booklet and on a cassette tape combined with a photo card. Having amassed over 33 billion streams worldwide and over 3 million tickets sold on world tours, the Columbus, Ohio duo of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun has become one of the most successful bands of the 21st century and redefined the sound of a generation. Co-produced by Joseph and Paul Meany, ‘Clancy’ is the next chapter in the band’s ambitious multi-album history, which first emerged with 2015’s breakthrough multi-platinum album ‘Blurryface’. What’s more, the upcoming release of the album on May 17 coincides with the 9th anniversary of the release of their debut album.

Twenty One Pilots expanded their ambitious concept set out in “Blurryface” with the album “TRENCH”, which achieved platinum status in 2018. Featuring the multi-platinum and multi-platinum singles “Chlorine,” “My Blood” and the GRAMMY® Award-nominated “Jumpsuit,” the album charted high on the Billboard, KERRANG!, Alternative Press, and Rock Sound “Best of” charts, and was charted at No. 1 .

The duo’s epic 2021 album “Scaled And Icy” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top “Rock Albums” and “Alternative Albums” charts and also reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200, marking the best opening week for rock album in 2021. The album includes the singles “The Outside”, “Saturday” and “Shy Away”. The last of them reached the top of Alternative Radio within 3 weeks, which placed Twenty One Pilots in the elite group of U2, REM, The Cure, Linkin Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Foo Fighters, i.e. bands that reached number 1 on the chart in 3 weeks or less.
