The film “I’m Here for You” starring Fan Shaoxun and Liu Junqian will be released on May 15. Director Deng Yihan, Wu Chunmo and Liang Shiyun will serve as screenwriters for the film, creating a story of Taiwan and Hong Kong. TVB’s granddaughter MoMo is one of the film’s screenwriters. She shared her creative inspiration and feelings.

Wu Junmo pointed out that the film was produced during the epidemic: “The writing and filming were all done during the epidemic, and people were in a situation where they mightn’t go anywhere. I was an exchange student in Taiwan and lived there for six months. I remembered the places I visited in Taiwan, and then I wrote this very dreamlike and magical story. » She said: “Because I’ve been trapped for so long, I really yearn for something very fantastical and unrealistic. , to express how miserable reality is. Even if life is dark or unhappy, all happy things involve a fantastic journey and wonderful feelings. Looking back, I feel like it was a dream.

She shared her creative thoughts: “When I first created this story, I originally wanted to write a story regarding a boy from Hong Kong and a boy from Taiwan. During the epidemic, I mightn’t go anywhere, so I wrote such a route based on my memories of living in Taiwan. The meeting of the two boys was in fact written in their destiny. This fantastic journey is not superficial, and the story will have a twist.” She discussed the inspiration for the story: “It comes from. a fairy tale by Andersen called “A Traveling Companion”. A poor stranger passed by the church and kindly buried the body of a vagrant. Then he met a mysterious traveling companion, and the two traveled to a country where there was a cruel princess. possessed by an evil spirit. With the help of the protagonist, the evil spirit is finally driven out. At the end of the story, the traveling companion is regarding to separate from the protagonist. He tells the protagonist that he is actually the buried corpse. From the beginning, he has been there to help and support him during a period of his life.

She continued: “Of course, the story of the film is not like that. The protagonist of the film is a writer involved in a plagiarism scandal and has no inspiration left. This is the beginning of a fairy tale. The protagonist is not a financier or barista man, he is not in tune with the world and he wants to find a place called Whale Bay does this place actually exist, or is it just. a child’s saying? He only knows that he must go there before he dies. He insisted that he was the only one in the world who knew regarding this place, and the trip ended like this, with the. death of his traveling companion It was the ending he had written a long time ago, but he discovered there was another possibility for the story.

Wu Junmo also continues her career as an actress and screenwriter. As the chief screenwriter of “The Silent House”, she talked regarding her current situation: “Recently, she has been busy filming “The Silent House” on the mainland and is now starting to write the script for a new film.”
