Tomek, a boy from the lowlands, is desperate for social advancement. Unfortunately, he is expelled from law school. He works for a PR firm that specializes in smear campaigns. Jan Komasa, the creator of the Oscar-nominated Corpus Christi, paints a picture of today’s Poland as a country plagued by hatred. In this reality, cynical people gain the most.

Poland, 1968. Students protest in Warsaw. Hania and Janek are among the demonstrators. She is of Jewish descent and the boy’s father works at the Ministry of the Interior. This makes them people from two different, hostile worlds. In this difficult historical moment, young people try to fight for the feeling that connects them.

In the program “Teens rule … money” it is teenagers who will take over the family finances. For a month, they will decide what they will spend the money on – whether they will pay the bills and take care of shopping, or focus on fulfilling their dreams. It will turn out how they will spread out the expenses so that it will be enough until the end of the month and how the other members of their families will find themselves in this new situation. The support for teenagers and their relatives during the program will be provided by pedagogue Marcin Józefaciuk.

As a result of a risky decision made by adults, two groups of young people from different worlds, representing two different value systems, meet. What was supposed to be a lesson in responsibility and tolerance turns into a ruthless fight for leadership. Belief in noble ideals is juxtaposed with the law of the stronger. Relationships between young people are increasingly strained. Isolated from the outside world, teenagers reveal their true, disturbing faces.
