As we announced last Friday, nothing is going well for Ary Abittan, the turner of his one man show asking him for several million euros.
This Sunday, in the columns of Parisian and in view of the release of his film this Wednesday, Claude Lelouch explained why he decided to keep the sequences where the actor indicted for rape since November 2 appears. “Obviously, the decision-makers told us: ‘We have to change…’ They told me: ‘TV no longer buys films with Ary Abittan'”, swings the filmmaker, who has always refused to remove the 47-year-old actor from his film Love is better than life.
“I am a faithful friend”
“You realize ?, continues the filmmaker Parisian. I’m not going to listen to those things. Besides, I am a faithful friend. My friends can count on me when they are bad. Right now what Ary is going through is a nightmare.” Claude Lelouch says to himself “Very unhappy with what’s happening. It’s a boy that I really like and who makes me laugh”. The famous 84-year-old director, however, does not comment on the serious accusations once morest the actor. “I believe in justice. For the moment, the presumption of innocence must play. If he did something stupid, he must be punished. But friendship is a word that has meaning . So there’s no way I’m cutting a scene.”
