Turning is looking for its next generation. The branch is currently experiencing a staff shortage and wishes to motivate young people to train. It is with this in mind that the association of bar turning and cutting manufacturers (AFDT) organized open days with the Capsa company in La Neuveville. The objective is to attract those at the end of their schooling (9th, 10th and 11th Harmos) and to introduce them to the various professions in the sector. Joëlle Schneiter, director of the AFDT:
Bar turning companies are aware of the shortage of personnel and the need to replace those retiring. Open doors therefore seem to be a good way to approach school children and attract them to the branch, notes Joëlle Schneiter:
With more than thirty registrations, Joëlle Schneiter is delighted with the success of the first edition of open doors for bar turning. /tbu
