The Toronto Maple Leafs have taken a lot of flak this season, but quietly recovered with four wins in their last six games. Tuesday night, they will cross swords with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The match will be presented on TVA Sports and TVA Sports Direct, starting at 7 p.m.
The Leafs are now 8-5-3, good for 19 points and second in the Atlantic Division standings behind the mighty Boston Bruins. However, the next four teams, including the Montreal Canadiens, have 17 points.
For their part, the Penguins have only two meager victories in their last 10 meetings. The band’s most recent loss to Sidney Crosby came on Saturday night when the Canadiens won 5-4 in overtime.
With 15 points, they are seventh in the standings of the Metropolitan section.
