The problem is partially solved by the presence of an Ethernet port in older MacBooks. But if Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are needed, you can detach the hinge from the screen. Before removing it, you will have to disassemble it in order to cut off the wire through which the camera is connected. The antenna assembly can then be put back into the hinge and connected to the MacBook motherboard. The 15-inch MacBook Pro, which the blogger took apart in the video, was bought for $66.
