A delegation of businessmen from the Republic of Türkiye visited Venezuela to strengthen economic and commercial relations with the Government of President Nicolás Maduro.
As part of the economic development strategies promoted by the Bolivarian Government of Venezuela to advance in economic matters, the Vice Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Promotion, Johann Álvarez Márquez, led a meeting with this business delegation, according to the website of the Mppefce.
At the meeting, held this Monday in Caracas, several agreements were reached, including promoting investment in the public and private sectors, and continuing the export process of specific items such as seafood, coffee, flour, olive oil. , pasta, flour and chocolate.
Vice Minister Álvarez affirmed that the relationship between both nations is strategic in terms of international trade, and is part of the policies of recovery, prosperity and economic stability promoted by President Maduro.
“The export of seafood has been positive, so we see it effective, boosting the export of coffee and cocoa, and importing raw materials for the textile sector,” he added.
He highlighted that the National Government will work together with the Türkiye authorities, ahead of the B2B Meeting, which will take place on August 15 in the capital of Venezuela.
For his part, the Deputy Secretary General of the Southeast Anatolian Exporters Association, Ahmet Sahbudak, explained that more than 20 Turkish businessmen are interested in showing their products in the Venezuelan market.
