Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on Wednesday that he was abandoning all his plans to travel to Israel and stigmatized the Westerners’ inability to stop the war in Gaza. “We had plans to go to Israel but it was canceled. We will not go“, declared before Parliament the head of state, who met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the first time in September in New York.

“That those who mobilized the world in favor of Ukraine did not speak out once morest the massacres in Gaza is the most blatant sign of their hypocrisy“, he emphasized. “As long as innocent people continue to die in Gaza, no ship or plane sent to our region will bring peace there“.
The Turkish president called for the founding of a “Independent Palestine“and to a conference between Israel and the Palestinians, proposing that Turkey act as”guarantor” of any future agreement.
Tuesday evening, Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused the United Nations Security Council of having “worsened the crisis“in the Gaza Strip by his attitude”biased“and to cause”the worst wrongs“to the reputation of the UN, showing itself”unable to secure a ceasefire as quickly as possible and take measures to avoid civilian casualties“.
