Of this type, it has obtained the approval of Britain and Spain and is trying to convince Germany. London promised to help remove Berlin’s objections.

The newspaper indicates that Türkiye does not intend to abandon the project to develop the fifth-generation national fighter aircraft, KAAN, as it continued: “Why do we buy the Eurofighter now? We aim to produce two KAAN aircraft per month and 24 aircraft per year, which includes the introduction of a locally made engine. Our goal is to reach a fleet of 200 aircraft on average, and until then we must protect the skies of our homeland in the best possible way, and that is why we are purchasing Eurofighter fighters.”
