Turkish Arrests of Suspected Israeli Spies: Latest Updates and Controversies

The suspects, arrested in several provinces of the country, are suspected of having spied on foreign nationals residing in Turkey on behalf of the Israeli secret services, said the official Anadolu news agency.

Thirteen other suspects, accused of the same acts, are currently wanted, added Anadolu and the private news agency DHA.

The nationalities of the accused were not specified.

Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya claimed on the social network“assault” or pick up” of some of the foreigners spied on.
