Turki Al-Sheikh resolves his position on the inclusion of the stars of Saudi Arabia and Egypt for Almeria

Almeria is promoted to the first division of the Spanish League

Chancellor Turki Al-Sheikh, owner of the Spanish club Almeria, has decided his position on including the Saudi and Egyptian league players during the upcoming summer transfer market, following his success in ascending to the Spanish First Division.

Almeria was crowned the second division of the Spanish League, and as soon as the matter of his presence in the League next season was decided, a number of stars from Egypt and Saudi Arabia began to associate with him, most notably Salem Al-Dosari and Ramadan Sobhi.

The Saudi Minister of Entertainment, who previously served as the head of the Saudi General Sports Authority (currently the Ministry of Sports) and the honorary president of the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club, completely denied all the news linking Almeria with the stars of the Saudi and Egyptian league.

The owner of the Egyptian Pyramids Club previously stated that the doors of Almeria are open to Arab talents active in European and international leagues, during a post published on his official account on Facebook.

He added, “No player will be contracted with any player in the Saudi League or the Egyptian League in the Almeria deals in the summer. The page of Saudi and Egyptian football has been folded forever.”

He continued, “Do not listen to the misleading rumors that I used to use my name to increase views and to distract people…Almeria is only open to new Arab talents and Arab talents in European and international leagues…Greetings.”

It is noteworthy that Al-Sheikh had explicitly lied regarding Almeria targeting Salem Al-Dosari, the star of the Saudi Crescent.
