Al-Marsad newspaper: Turki Al-Sheikh, head of the General Authority for Entertainment, published a propaganda “poster” for the “Perfume of Kalam” program, which is scheduled to be shown on the Saudi channel in the holy month of Ramadan.
Al-Sheikh said: The “Perfume of Kalam” program … as we promised you in the first entertainment conference, but the circumstances of the corona delay us … The first competition program that combines Quran recitation and the call to prayer … More than 40 thousand participants from different countries of the world submitted to it and qualified 36 subscriber .
Contestants from several countries will participate in the program, led by the Kingdom, Egypt, Malaysia, Syria, Indonesia, Morocco, Algeria and Iraq.
The contestants compete in reciting the Qur’an and the call to prayer in front of a jury of sheikhs with the aim of reviving the Sunnah, and the program aims to spread Qur’anic knowledge to the future generation and highlight the voices of skilled readers.
