The Turkish Exporters Council revealed, according to its data, that the exports of leather and leather products in Turkey increased by 38.1 percent in February, compared to the same period last year, and amounted to 178 million dollars. He pointed out that Russia, Germany and Italy were at the forefront of importing countries for leather and leather products from Turkey, during February.

Mustafa Shen Ocak, head of the Istanbul Leather and Leather Products Exporters Union, said in a press statement that “shoes were the most exported among the sector’s products last month,” noting that “shoe exports amounted to 118 million dollars, setting a record, It increased by 31.6 percent compared to the same period last year.
