Southern Adana, which was far from the epicenter and suffered relatively little collapse damage. The place where the 14-story apartment was located was cleared of debris and cleared. The surrounding buildings remain, and only there is a strange space. Residents of the surrounding area testified that the collapsed building was built 20 years ago and was no different from the other buildings, and that work was being done to remove the pillars when the first floor was being remodeled into an office.

Fadime Baidul, 66, who lost her family of four, said, “If I had known (regarding the pillars), I wouldn’t have lived there. The contractors who kept silent are scammers.” Around 100 people died at the scene, according to local media. The authorities are planning to hold the contractor responsible.

In Turkey, more than 100 construction workers were detained for being responsible for the collapse of the building, which caused casualties.
