The Turkish embassy in Khartoum announced that Turkish citizens who want to return to their homeland due to the conflicts in Sudan will be evacuated on April 23.

“As a result of the security assessments conducted once morest the background of ongoing conflicts in Sudan, it was decided to evacuate our citizens tomorrow (April 23, Sunday) by land through a third country.
The issue of ensuring the safe evacuation of our citizens from Sudan was brought up by our president and foreign minister in negotiations with their Sudanese counterparts and in meetings with some third countries. Necessary preparations have been made in coordination with our embassy in Khartoum and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” the statement said.
It is noted that citizens of third countries who want help in this matter are also included in the evacuation plan.
