Turkey and Kazakhstan will not save you: Capcom raises regional prices on Steam

Japanese publishing house Capcom rose sharply in Steam prices for their games in a number of regions. Among them, we can highlight Kazakhstan, Turkey and Argentina, through which many gamers from Russia bought games at lower prices, and also bypassed the restrictions associated with a special operation in Ukraine.

Adjustments also occurred in Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Colombia, Uruguay, Mexico and Peru. However, most games have risen in price in Argentina and Turkey.

Yes, for the standard edition. Resident Evil 7 now they are not asking for 5,471 (was 3,900) tenge or 202 lira (was 89). But Devil May Cry 5 became an exception, because in Kazakhstan the price of the game decreased from 12,780 to 8,065 tenge.

It is not worth declaring that Capcom has begun to fight Russian gamers. The fact is that the above countries are experiencing serious economic problems, because of which the rates of their national currencies have collapsed. This is especially true for Turkey.
