Local accumulations of rain of around 100 mm are reported on the Biella Prealps, in the neighboring areas of the Alps and Prealps it reaches 40-60 mm. The province of Novara was in partial rain shadow all night: on average 10 to 30 mm of rain fell, but according to the forecasts heavy precipitation is expected in the next few hours, which could occur in alternating phases based on the regeneration of the phenomena. The heavy rains that have hit Piedmont since yesterday evening have caused the collapse of a bridge in Mattie, in the Turin area, in the Combe area. About 30 people are isolated. The firefighters have been working since 4 this morning to deal with the numerous damages caused by the wave of bad weather. In Liguria, landslides and disruptions, especially in the provinces of Savona and Imperia where numerous road closures have been recorded. The flooding of several waterways has also caused evacuations.
