When the aircraft was flying over the Atlantic Ocean and was preparing to enter the continent near Recife, Brazil faced “severe turbulence” that caused an unusual movement inside the cabin.

Aerolineas Argentinas reported that the injured were not traveling with their seat belts fastened, despite the fact that the sign indicating it was on and that it was warned that they were passing through an area of ​​turbulence.

Despite the images showing some breakages inside the cabin, the plane, an A330 with registration LV-FVH, did not show significant damage to its structure, according to the airline.
