The judicial counter-terrorism unit ordered, on Tuesday, the freezing of the assets of several people, as part of the judicial investigation in connection with money laundering through associations.
This decision affected 10 people, including Hamadi Jebali, the former head of government and his two daughters, as well as Rached Ghannouchi, his son Mouâdh and his son-in-law Rafik Bouchleka.
With this court decision, the various banking institutions and the Tunisian post office are required to freeze the assets of these individuals, and their accounts, and to send a statement of these accounts to the investigating judge in charge of the investigation. .
