A multidisciplinary medical campaign was organized on Saturday for the benefit of Moroccans residing in Tunis at the initiative of the Association of Moroccan Nationals in Tunisia (ARMAT).
The main objective of this caravan is to strengthen access to care for Moroccans residing in this country, especially those in a precarious situation, said the president of ARMAT, Tozy Abdeljalil Ben Abdelkader.
The operation targeted 120 Moroccans in Tunis, whose needy also benefited from Ramadan baskets and hygiene kits, he added, noting that the medical caravan, which is part of the annual activities of ARMAT, is supervised by medical units equipped with the equipment required for diagnosis in several specialties, including gynecology, paediatrics, ophthalmology, psychology and general medicine, as well as dentistry.
The campaign, initiated in collaboration with a Tunisian laboratory active in Morocco, the Moroccan Association for Family Planning, the Tunisian Association for Reproductive Health, as well as the International Federation for Family Planning, was supervised by Moroccan medical staff. -Tunisian including two general practitioners, a geriatrician, two gynecologists, two psychologists and a dentist, as well as two midwives, said Ben Abdelkader.
note that ARMAT had organized in 2021 a solidarity action on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan which benefited 300 families throughout Tunisia.
