Ayesha Rumi, the curator of this exhibition, says that it took her a year to organize this show.
“For the first time, transgender people or their issues are not being presented only through paintings or films, but they are being given the opportunity to come and tell their own stories.”

According to Ayesha, ‘we have tried to incorporate three things that, as we say, we are breaking down the barrier where the character of the painting itself is communicating with its viewers.’
‘It was very important for us to have a presentation where the audience, the characters and the props used in the painting and the performance were all on the same stage so that there was no division.’
Sana, the curator and director of the performances presented in the exhibition, said, ‘This performance is about inclusiveness of the gender community.’
By doing this, we want to show that we can improve this society by opening our hearts. That’s safe for all kinds of minorities, and those people have all the potential to make them who they want to be, they just need to be given the chance.’
