On the other hand, the director of the CRI TTA, stopped at a number of initiatives that the Center has helped to organize to support investments, such as the international challenge of territorial intelligence for territorial development, the investment and entrepreneurship, and the creation of a fund to support businesses, attract investment and their integration into the labor market, on the initiative of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Regional Council, in partnership with the Wilayat of the Region and the Agency for the Promotion and Development of the Northern Provinces.
In addition, the treasurer of the General Confederation of Enterprises of Northern Morocco (CGEM), Noureddine El Ouajih, spoke regarding the efforts of the private sector to stimulate investments by Moroccans in their country of origin, noting in this regard that the CGEM launched a digital platform for the benefit of entrepreneurs residing abroad.
For his part, the general manager of the Tanger Med Passager port, Hassan Abakari, reviewed the qualifications of the port, industrial, logistics and service platforms of the Tanger Med Group, which constitute promising investment opportunities for MREs, explaining that the Tanger Med port has contributed to increasing the competitiveness of Moroccan companies, particularly operating in the export sectors, as well as attracting investment from international players.
For his part, the dregional development director of Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, Hicham Bouziane, mentioned a certain number of initiatives undertaken to increase the territorial attractiveness, support the entrepreneurial fabric and to advance the social and the solidarity economy, in particular when it comes to to create a fund to support entrepreneurship and attract investment and integration into the labor market with a financial envelope of one billion dirhams over five years.
