In this regard, Andreas Tsokos, politician from Achaia with New Democracy, says: “In the context of my contacts to promote issues that concern us in Achaia, I met the Deputy Minister of Education, Religion and Sports Zetta M. Makris, whom I sincerely thank for cooperation.
The aim of the Ministry of Education and Deputy Minister Zetta M. Makris is to strengthen schools by appointing teachers, as well as to reform the educational process, offering teachers and students digital tools and modern possibilities that upgrade the learning process. Specifically, the priority is to repeat the number of 10,000 appointments that were made this school year, in collaboration with the Ministry and the co-competent Ministries of Interior and National Economy and Finance.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Education has this year carried out 5 reforms related to digital innovation: the digital tutorial, the e-registration platform, the autonomous digital classroom, the upgrade of the IT course with new digital IT books and the platform against of school bullying, stop bullying, a phenomenon that strongly concerns the school communities of Achaia.
The government of the New Democracy is working to upgrade education in our country. The goal is for all students, regardless of financial ability, to have equal opportunities at the start of their lives and access to quality public education, in order to have the supplies for a better life.”
