The Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice -TSJ-, ruled on Thursday to admit the electoral contentious appeal filed by Nicolás Maduro.
He also summoned all presidential candidates to appear on Friday, August 2 at 2 p.m.
The Electoral Chamber declared that: “It is competent, accepts and assumes the electoral contentious appeal presented on July 31, 2024 by the constitutional citizen president of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros.”
In this regard, the TSJ reported that it has begun the process of investigation and verification of the results of the electoral process of July 28, requested by Nicolás Maduro, through an electoral contentious appeal.
For this reason, the following citizens were summoned to the TSJ: Nicolás Maduro, Edmundo González Urrutia, Claudio Fermín, Luis Eduardo Martínez, Antonio Ecarri, Enrique Márquez, José Brito, Daniel Ceballos, and Javier Bertucci.
