TSJ declared former candidate Edmundo González in contempt

On the afternoon of this Saturday, August 10, the president of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ)Caruslia Rodríguez, presented the balance of the appearances of the presidential candidates who participated in the elections last July 28th.

38 Representatives of different political parties and the nine candidates appeared before the Electoral Chamber.

The Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) declared former candidate Edmundo González in contempt of court summons and assured that “failed to deliver any electoral material.”

“The magistrates of this Electoral Chamber are engaged in the expert examination of all the material submitted – in physical and digital form – regarding the massive cyber attack that the National Electoral Council (CNE) was subjected to,” he said, before the diplomatic corps accredited in the country.
