Tsitsipas, ranked fifth in the world, won the first set by six games to four before ending the confrontation that lasted one hour and fifteen minutes by winning the second set by six games to two and securing a place in the final.
In the final, Tsitsipas will face Spain’s Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, who beat Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov in two sets to one.
Fokina, ranked 46th in the world, managed to settle the first set by six games to four, but Dimitrov returned in the second set and settled it with a tie-breaker 7-6 (7-2), before Fokina returned to decide the deciding set by six to three to guarantee the final scene card.
