Smartphones are a great convenience, but they are also a weapon in the hands of the undiscerning. The famous people of this planet no longer have peace, not even on the plane, on the Athens-Paris flight.
As protothema.gr wrote, the former prime minister was traveling in Aegean economy class. Dressed in a Tsipras outfit – jeans, shirt and jacket, he was poring over some papers when a fellow passenger held up his smartphone to him, camera on.
Two clicks and one indiscretion later, everyone can now see what the former prime minister was studying – a memo from Publicis Communications, one of the world’s largest advertising companies, based in Paris.
With the possibilities offered by technology, anyone can enlarge the photo and…surprise: The French memo is entitled “Rebranding – Alexis Tsipras”. Underneath it says “Mars 2024”, so this is fresh stuff. Chapters are hard to read – technology has its limits too.
A few days ago, by diabolical coincidence, Kathimerini wrote that Alexis Tsipras tells his interlocutors that “it is obvious that a rebranding is needed” – apparently, following the conference’s ruckus, he wasted no time.
