Trump’s vice will be JD Vance –

Donald Trump has announced that he has chosen Ohio Senator JD Vance as his vice president if he wins the November presidential election. “I have decided that the most suitable person to serve as Vice President of the United States is Senator JD Vance, from the great state of Ohio,” the Republican said on his social network, Truth Social.

“After much consideration, and considering the extraordinary talents of many others, I have decided that the person best suited to serve as Vice President of the United States is Senator J.D. Vance of the Great State of Ohio,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “J.D. Vance served our country honorably in the Marine Corps, graduated from Ohio State University in two years, Summa Cum Laude, and is a graduate of Yale Law School, where he was Editor of The Yale Law Journal and President of the Yale Law Veterans Association. J.D.’s book, ‘Hillbilly Elegy,’ became a best-seller and a movie, as he championed the hardworking men and women of our country. J.D. Vance has had a highly successful business career in technology and finance, and now, during the campaign, he will focus heavily on the people he fought so brilliantly for, America’s working people and farmers in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Minnesota and far beyond…” “As Vice President, J.D. Vance will continue to fight for our Constitution, stand with our troops, and do everything he can to help me Make America Great Again. Congratulations to Senator J.D. Vance, his wife Usha, also a Yale Law School graduate, and their three beautiful children. MAGA2024!” The move further elevates Vance, who has embraced the former president’s populist agenda following years of pointedly criticizing Trump. Vance, an investor and author of the best-selling memoir “Hillbilly Elegy,” was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2022 following getting a boost from Trump in a contentious Republican primary.
