U.S. media reported that Ivana Marie Trump, the ex-wife of former U.S. President Donald Trump, died at the age of 73 at her home in Manhattan, New York.

Trump announced Ivana’s death in a statement on Truth Social, the conservative social media platform he founded, without providing details such as the cause of death. However, the New York Post reported, citing unnamed police sources, that Ivana had suffered cardiac arrest in her Manhattan apartment and had died before paramedics arrived.

Trump wrote, “It is with great sadness that I inform all those who loved her that Ivana passed away at her home in New York City. She was a wonderful, beautiful, amazing woman who lived a great and Inspiring life. Her pride and joy are her 3 children, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka and Eric. She is so proud of their children as we are all so proud of her. Rest in peace , Ivana!

“Our mother was an unbelievably wonderful woman, influential in the business world, world-class athlete, beauty, caring mother and friend,” Ivana’s children said in a statement on behalf of the Trump family.

Ivana is a Czech-American socialite and former fashion model who grew up in former Czechoslovakia under a communist regime before fleeing the country for the United States. Ivana married Trump in 1977, the second stage of Ivana’s marriage, and she was Trump’s first wife, and the two divorced in 1992. At the time of the divorce, Ivana received 14 million US dollars (regarding 400 million Taiwan dollars) and some expensive real estate.
