Trump’s Dominance in Republican Polls and Potential Legal Challenges: What’s Next for the GOP?

NEW HAMPSHIRE — Former President Donald Trump is leading in all polls among Republican voters. Monmouth University/Washington Post poll finds 46% support for Paul Trump. Support was 42% in a poll conducted by the New Hampshire Survey Center and CNN. Other candidates are far behind.

Indian-origin and former UN ambassador Nikki Haley is improving her status day by day, having escaped all three Republican presidential debates unscathed. Haley was able to consolidate her position behind Trump, behind the Florida governor, who was in second place among the candidates. Haley has 18% and 20% support in the previous two polls, respectively. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s support dropped significantly to 9% and 8%, respectively. There is a situation where neither the governor nor the campaign team understand what is happening.

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has 14% and 11% respectively. But observers doubt the candidate’s presence in the fourth debate on December 6. But he is using all sources to make it clear that he is active in the race and is trying to do well in the New Hampshire primary on January 23, 2024.

Another Indian-origin candidate, Vivek Ramaswamy, made mistakes in the third debate that did not affect the candidate’s support at all. Ramaswamy stands with Disant, garnering 8% support in both the two surveys. This is an indisputable achievement for a politician of minority origin and maiden in the minority.

Trump’s supporters prove once once more to be a solid fortress. In any case, they are of the opinion that their 77-year-old leader is preferable to President Biden, who is now 81 years old.

But even if Trump finishes first in the Republican primaries and wins the nomination to face Biden, there might be a legal problem. Some states have already said they can’t have Trump’s name on their ballots. Will Trump and the Republican Party yield to this? Will they not approach the courts once morest this? If we yield to this, there will be a situation where Biden’s name (and Vice President Kamala Harris’s in the same box) will be on the ballots of all states, while the names of Trump and his running mate will not be on the ballots of some states. If this happens, Biden’s victory will be assured.
