Trump with false claim of Swift support

In a post on his social media Truth Social on Sunday, Trump posted an AI-generated photo of Swift dressed in a red, white and blue USA uniform with the caption, “Taylor Swift wants you to vote for Donald Trump.”

– I accept! Trump wrote under the fake photo.

Swift has not given her support to any of the candidates in the autumn presidential election, but has previously supported the Democrats.

During the 2020 election, she urged her fans to vote for President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. Harris is symbolically chosen as the Democratic presidential candidate at the national convention in Chicago this week.

Swift also criticized Trump in a 2020 Netflix documentary called “Miss Americana.”

Spokespersons for Trump and Swift have not yet commented on the matter.

Trump also posted photos of young women wearing “Swifties for Trump” shirts and a satirical article headlined “Swifties turn to Trump after IS prevents Swift concert.”

Swifties is the nickname Taylor Swift’s fans have given themselves.

Swift recently canceled three of her scheduled concerts in Vienna as a result of authorities saying they had uncovered terrorist plots against her concerts. According to Austrian police, the suspected perpetrators were inspired by the extremist group IS.
