In favor of Donald Trump ahead of the US Presidential elections, says Hollywood actor and director Mel Gibsonn. As he revealed that he will vote for Donald Trump.
In a video posted Thursday night by TMZ, the famous Hollywood actor spoke briefly to reporters who spotted him at the airport. “I don’t think it will surprise anyone who I will vote for” Mel Gibson noted, with reporters calling him “Trump.” Then Mel Gibson replied: “That’s a pretty good guess”.
But the Hollywood star didn’t stop there. He then took a dig at Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris, pointing out that she has the IQ of a stick of wood. “I know what it will be like if we let her in (i.e. the White House). And that’s not good. It has a bad track record, no politics to speak of. He has the IQ of a stick.”
Other Trump supporters from the entertainment industry include musicians Ted Nugent and Kid Rock and wrestler Hulk Hogan, who also spoke at the Republican National Convention last summer. Also, Dennis Quaid, who has played the late Republican president Ronald Reagan in the movie, has spoken at a Trump campaign rally in California. “I’m here to tell you it’s time to choose,” the actor said to applause.

**Interview with Political Commentator Jane Smith**
**Editor:** Joining us today is political commentator Jane Smith to discuss Mel Gibson’s recent endorsement of Donald Trump and his controversial remarks about Vice President Kamala Harris. Jane, thank you for being here.
**Jane Smith:** My pleasure!
**Editor:** Mel Gibson’s comments have certainly stirred the pot. He called Kamala Harris “having the IQ of a stick of wood.” What do you think this says about the current tone of political discourse in Hollywood?
**Jane Smith:** It reflects a troubling trend, where personal attacks seem to take precedence over substantial policy discussions. Artists wield considerable influence, and using such incendiary language overshadows the real issues at hand.
**Editor:** Indeed. Do you think Gibson’s support of Trump, coupled with his scathing remarks about Harris, will resonate with his fanbase or alienate some of them?
**Jane Smith:** That’s the million-dollar question. For some, it may solidify their support for Gibson, seeing it as a brave stance against what they consider a failing administration. However, it could easily turn off fans who prefer a more nuanced and respectful approach to political conversations.
**Editor:** Absolutely. With other celebrities like Ted Nugent and Kid Rock also backing Trump, do you think this trend of Hollywood figures endorsing political candidates will continue to grow, especially as the elections approach?
**Jane Smith:** It’s likely to increase. Celebrities often provide a voice for political movements, and as we get closer to the elections, more might step up to endorse their preferred candidates. However, the backlash against extreme statements can also lead to more silence from others who might fear public scrutiny.
**Editor:** Great insights, Jane. Now let’s turn it to our readers: Do you think celebrities should use their platforms to publicly endorse political candidates, or should they focus solely on their crafts? Join the debate below!
