A POTENTIAL Israeli attack on Iran should primarily target Iran’s nuclear facilities. This was said by former President of the United States (US) Donald Trump at a citizen’s meeting in North Carolina.

“When they put that question to (Biden), the answer should have been to destroy the nuclear (facilities) first and worry about the rest later,” Trump said on Friday (4/10).

Israeli officials vowed to retaliate against Iran after the country launched several hundred ballistic missiles at Israel in response to the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh, and senior IRGC commander Abbas Nilforoushan.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said his country did not intend to go to war with Israel, but would face any threat in a firm manner.

Iran’s former ambassador to Germany SEED Hossein Mousavian told Sputnik this week that the possibility of Israel attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities would be a strategic mistake for Israel. An attack on the facility, Mousavian said, would cause Iran to transition from a Nuclear Threshold State to a Nuclear State.
