Trump says the accusation against him is “political stalking and election interference”

Former US President Donald Trump on Thursday rejected the decision to indict him in the case of buying the silence of a porn star with whom he allegedly had an affair, and he poured out his anger on the public prosecutor and his political opponents.

“This is political persecution and election interference at the highest level in history,” Trump said in a statement, adding, “I believe that this persecution will backfire on Joe Biden.”
