Swift has not publicly endorsed a candidate in the 2024 presidential race, but has supported Democrats in the past. The singer endorsed President Joe Biden and his candidate Kamala Harris in 2020. Harris is set to be officially nominated as the 2024 candidate at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago this week. Swift also criticized Trump in a 2020 documentary.

Swift canceled three concerts in Vienna this month after authorities said they had foiled a planned attack. Local officials arrested a 19-year-old man who is said to have been inspired by the Islamic State.
